The Systems Engineering Specialist will be focused on providing Support Services for Hitachi Systems Security clients.
In this role, you will be part of the consulting team, performing duties related to assisting customers in managing security systems and tools, while carrying out operational tasks and activities within client environments.
You will apply formal and structured methodologies to provide clients with a consistent level of quality that reflects the knowledge and experience of Hitachi Systems Security. The Systems Engineering Specialist will be expected to meet established support SLAs when resolving incident and request tickets. You will work closely with our customers, other delivery service lines, project managers, and incident response and defensive security subject matter experts.
Whatyou'lldo:Provide operational support for one or more client organizations, managing the day-to-day administration and maintenance of security tools.
Respond to incident and service request tickets for supported client systems within established SLAs.
Maintain and enhance operational documentation related to client security tools and environments.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements within client environments.
Collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders to support the ongoing effectiveness and reliability of security operations.
Thorough understanding of IT infrastructure design and operations.
Strong technical expertise with modern security tools, including:
Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
Email Security Platforms (Proofpoint, Barracuda, etc.)
Endpoint Protection Systems
Common Firewall and VPN solutions (Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.)
Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms
Strong collaboration skills, enabling success across multiple regions, teams, and organizational levels.
Demonstrated initiative and accountability with a strong commitment to follow-through.
Ability to manage priorities and perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm, rational, and effective during emergency situations, including cybersecurity incidents and breach response activities.
