Position: Lead Security Incident Responder Role at Black Duck
Elevate product security efforts with Black Duck Software as a Lead Security Incident Responder. This role is critical in managing product security responses and enhancing customer engagement.

As a technical lead in our Security Operations team, you will coordinate vulnerability fixes while collaborating with engineering teams on secure development lifecycle practices. Your hands-on experience will help you address customer security inquiries and contribute to automations that streamline responses across the organization. You will also mentor less experienced members, sharing your knowledge in product security, threat modeling, and secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct architectural security reviews and threat assessments

• Facilitate communication for vulnerability resolutions

• Document best practices and processes in product security

• Manage detection content within security tools

• Assist in drafting responses to customer audits

Requirements:

• 7-8 years of experience in application security

• Deep understanding of secure SDLC processes

• Knowledge of cloud security principles and tools

• Excellent communication skills in high-pressure situations

• Experience with vendor evaluation in security tools
