Your Team:
Join the Digital - Engineering Team at Flair as a QA Analyst, where quality, collaboration, and technology come together to deliver reliable solutions that support both our customers and our business. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting software defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications. In this role, you will test and validate new features to ensure they meet business requirements and provide a seamless user experience.
Working closely with developers, Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, Dev Ops, and other stakeholders, you will contribute to improving software quality throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and collaborative QA professional who enjoys problem-solving and is passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality digital experiences.
This is a full-time, on-site position that can be based at any of our Edmonton (YEG), Calgary (YYC), Vancouver (YVR), or Toronto (YYZ) offices.
A Day in the Life:
As a QA Analyst, you will:
Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and prioritize bugs and issues in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with developers to replicate and resolve issues promptly.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices and contribute to process improvements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to provide input on quality concerns.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Communicate test progress, results, and risks effectively to all relevant parties.
Monitor software performance and provide suggestions for improvement.
Analyze customer feedback and production issues to identify areas for quality enhancement.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within Agile environments.
Demonstrated experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Test Rail, or similar platforms.
Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Load Runner.
Experience with database and API testing using SQL, Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
