Our client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise custom application projects and enhancements while managing multiple concurrent releases in a fast-paced Agile environment. (Calgary, Hybrid TWT)
Must Have Skills- 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Experience delivering mission critical enterprise custom in-house applications from initial development through ongoing enhancements.
- Expert experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and Sprint-based Agile delivery.
- Experience supporting a portfolio of 15+ enterprise applications with multiple release cycles.
- Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in utilities or another regulated industry.
- Experience with cloud platforms, Dev Ops, AI, and enterprise data solutions.
- Experience managing time-sensitive regulatory or business-critical initiatives.
- Lead IT projects through the full project lifecycle from initiation to implementation.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and communications.
- Deliver enterprise custom application development and enhancement projects.
- Manage ongoing enhancements and multiple releases across a portfolio of enterprise applications.
- Lead Agile delivery using Azure Dev Ops, facilitating Sprint planning and execution.
- Manage project risks, issues, scope changes, and dependencies.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent product releases in a fast-paced environment.
- Support business-critical initiatives, including the Alberta Time (DST) implementation before the November 1 deadline.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality expectations.
