Position: Senior IT Applications Project Manager Johnson Service Group Inc.

Our client is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise custom application projects and enhancements while managing multiple concurrent releases in a fast-paced Agile environment. (Calgary, Hybrid TWT)

Must Have Skills

10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
PMP or PRINCE2 certification
Experience delivering mission critical enterprise custom in-house applications from initial development through ongoing enhancements.
Expert experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and Sprint-based Agile delivery.
Experience supporting a portfolio of 15+ enterprise applications with multiple release cycles.
Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, vendors, and stakeholders.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have Skills

Experience in utilities or another regulated industry.
Experience with cloud platforms, Dev Ops, AI, and enterprise data solutions.
Experience managing time-sensitive regulatory or business-critical initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead IT projects through the full project lifecycle from initiation to implementation.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and communications.
Deliver enterprise custom application development and enhancement projects.
Manage ongoing enhancements and multiple releases across a portfolio of enterprise applications.
Lead Agile delivery using Azure Dev Ops, facilitating Sprint planning and execution.
Manage project risks, issues, scope changes, and dependencies.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate multiple concurrent product releases in a fast-paced environment.
Support business-critical initiatives, including the Alberta Time (DST) implementation before the November 1 deadline.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality expectations.
