THE ROLE:
We’re helping our Calgary client find a talented and dedicated Client Services IT Technician with strong expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical issues involving hardware, software, networks, servers, and firewalls. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional first-line technical support, serving as the first point of contact for customers and ensuring systems run smoothly. This role involves both in-person and remote support, with a strong focus on customer service and effective problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers, responding to support tickets and providing technical assistance.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, computer system, LAN/WAN, server, firewall, and connectivity issues; escalate complex issues to Tier 3 support when required.Install, configure, modify, repair, and maintain computers, software, hardware, and peripherals.Perform system maintenance, cleanup, optimization, and diagnostics to ensure reliable day-to-day performance.Take direction from the Team Lead and maintain accurate support records.Recommend tailored IT solutions based on customers’ unique needs and requirementsResponsible for timely submission of billable calendar entries to the Accounting Department to support client invoicing.WHY THIS ROLE?
