About the Role
This is an on-site contract role supporting a large-scale SAP S/4
HANA transformation program at a leading energy infrastructure organization. The SAP Technical Business Analyst works alongside the program Business Lead and Solution and Technical Leads to translate business needs into clear, traceable requirements and solution designs across functional, technical, data, security, and vendor teams. The role owns key governance artifacts, facilitates design workshops, supports test readiness, and escalates risks, scope gaps, and cross-workstream dependencies that could affect timelines, compliance, or operational readiness.
The ideal candidate brings at least six years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst on large integrated enterprise programs, ideally ERP transformations, and has working knowledge of SAP S/4
HANA capabilities, standard process concepts, and controls considerations such as segregation of duties and audit evidence. You are equally comfortable producing governance-ready documentation and sitting in a room with stakeholders to drive decisions, resolve ambiguity, and move things forward. A structured, detail-oriented approach and strong facilitation skills are essential in this regulated, stage-gate environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst on large integrated enterprise programs; ERP transformation experience strongly preferred
- Proven capability in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation, including translating business outcome requirements into testable criteria
- Experience working across functional and technical teams to define integrations, data, reporting, and non-functional needs such as performance, security, and auditability
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4
HANA capabilities and standard process concepts, with the ability to engage meaningfully in solution discussions and assess upstream and downstream impacts - Awareness of controls and governance considerations including segregation of duties, approval design, and audit evidence, and how they influence requirements and design
