Our client is seeking Senior Portfolio Architect to support Technology Resilience program including Disaster Recovery (DR), High Availability, and Cyber Recovery,
This role is hybrid in down town Calgary. It is 6 months to start with strong possibility of extension
Must have:- Senior Architect who has ho has to supported evolving standards, process and roadmaps for large programs in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery & Resilience programs preferrable with Disaster Recovery (DR), High Availability, Cyber Recovery, or technology resilience.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience assessing or mapping dependencies between applications, infrastructure, and technology services to support resilience, recovery, or service continuity.
- Experience with Service Now CMDB and service mapping.
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability, Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and resilience testing.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery as Code (DRaaC), recovery orchestration, automated failover, or recovery validation.
- Exposure to Cyber Recovery, Dev Sec Ops , Platform Engineering, or modern cloud operating models.
- Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Security Architecture, and engineering teams on technology standards and governance.
- Define and maintain technology resilience architecture, standards, patterns, and roadmaps.
- Develop architecture approaches for Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, Operational Resilience, and technology continuity.
- Guide engineering teams in adopting recovery automation, Infrastructure as Code, orchestration, and automated recovery validation.
- Incorporate reliability engineering, observability, resilience metrics, and testing into architecture standards.
- Map dependencies between business services, applications, infrastructure, data, integrations, and third-party services to support recovery planning.
- Improve dependency visibility through Service Now CMDB, service mapping, and related capabilities.
- Provide architecture guidance and design assurance for resilience initiatives, technology investments, and modernization.
- Work with Enterprise Architecture, Security Architecture, Cloud, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and Operations teams to address resilience risks and technical debt.
