As a Claims Representative – Auto ME you will investigate, negotiate, and settle auto claims for major events. They will also handle regular auto claims during times when major events and associated claims volumes have decreased.

You will work closely with our appraisal partners and our clients to ensure exceptional client service, and goal achievement.

How you will create impact:
  • Investigate, interpret and apply coverage, reserve adequately, negotiate and settle major event auto claims and non major event auto service claims.
  • Provide regular auto claims support to the claims operations as needed and determined by claims management, including handling non major event files, backing up and providing support to other CRC representatives with vacation back up, completing activities, answering phone calls off queue as required. Various file management tasks are required throughout the year.
  • On-site presence may be required at various evaluation sites (i.e. Hail Clinics) in response to major events, including assisting clients with the evaluation and claims process.
  • Issuing cash settlement within Financial Authority where possible on auto losses with a focus on timely major event settlements.
  • Foster relationships and communicate with clients, vendors, appraisers, lawyers, Underwriting, Financial Advisors and other internal and external partners ensuring efficiency, timeliness and quality of the settlement of the loss
  • Share claims handling knowledge and may participate in major event preparedness to be effective team members to support their peers, the department and the organization as a whole.
