Personal Lines Team Lead – Calgary

We are partnering with one of Calgary’s fastest-growing brokerages, achieving over 35% growth last year. They provide customized, comprehensive insurance solutions to clients across multiple lines of business. Our client is looking for a Personal Lines Team Lead to manage a team of 3–4 account managers and contribute to the continued success of their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a book of personal lines business, focusing on retention, profitability, and growth
Lead, coach, and support a team of account managers to ensure high-quality service and achievement of performance goals
Act as a liaison between producers and the team, fostering effective communication and collaboration
Handle complex or escalated client inquiries, providing solutions and advice
Maintain and update client records and policies in EPIC or a similar broker management system
Monitor and report on key metrics and personal lines market trends
Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and products
Participate in training and development initiatives
Deliver and analyze system reporting for leadership
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ personal lines insurance experience in a brokerage environment
Valid Level 2 General Insurance License in Alberta
Experience leading or mentoring account managers (formal title not required)
Familiarity with EPIC or similar broker management systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
