Job Summary

Gee Insurance and Investment Group is seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our growing team in Calgary.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in personal lines insurance and be ready to apply their knowledge and client service skills in a commercial insurance environment.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial insurance clients.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to protect businesses and their owners.
• Prepare new business quotes, policy reviews, renewals, endorsements, and coverage recommendations.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with clients, underwriters, and internal team members to deliver timely and effective insurance solutions.
• Support business development initiatives through referrals, networking, and community involvement.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience through proactive service and ongoing relationship management.

• Alberta General Insurance Level 2 License.
• Previous personal lines insurance experience.
• Commercial insurance experience.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, coverage analysis, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• CIP designation or progress toward obtaining a CIP designation.
• Experience working with business owners and commercial clients.
• Knowledge of small business, farm, and commercial insurance products.
