CLIC is seeking a Disability Case Manager I to join their Group Benefits team. This hybrid role focuses on the effective management of disability claims to support client needs.
As part of CLIC's Group Benefits team, the Disability Case Manager I investigates and resolves disability claims, while implementing management plans to minimize durations. Your work will involve collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved in the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate and adjudicate disability claims effectively
• Communicate decisions and next steps to claimants
• Calculate benefit payments accurately and efficiently
• Gather necessary information for claim transitions
• Develop strategies for effective claims management
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in disability management
• Degree in Kinesiology, Psychology, or related area
• Valid Associate, Life and Health Claims designation
• Understanding of disability management protocols
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills
