Position: Builders Risk Underwriter at AXA XL
Expand your underwriting expertise with AXA XL as a Builders Risk Underwriter. This role focuses on marketing, risk analysis, and tailored solutions for construction projects.

As a Senior Underwriter, you will collaborate with brokers and assess submissions while determining risk levels. You’ll leverage your commercial insurance knowledge to tailor Builders Risk policies, working directly with diverse internal teams including Actuarial and Claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market to brokers for new and renewal business

• Review terms, loss history, and risk modeling

• Coordinate with internal teams for support

• Calculate rates using approved rating models

• Cross-sell products and uphold service standards

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial insurance or construction

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• Willingness to travel approximately 25%
