Position: Auto Field Appraiser with Desjardins
Join Desjardins as an Auto Field Appraiser, where you will utilize Mitchell's automated estimating system to prepare accurate repair estimates. Engage with customers and facilitate seamless communication between various stakeholders.

This position requires a college diploma and at least three years of relevant experience in auto body or estimatics. As an appraiser, you will write detailed damage estimates, assess vehicle values for total loss claims, and maintain relationships with repair facilities.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with company standards and quality in repair assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare competitive repair estimates using Mitchell estimating system

• Communicate repair estimate information to clients and repair facilities

• Establish vehicle value and recommend settlements for total loss claims

• Monitor supplier work and ensure procedural adherence

• Audit vehicle damage for completion accuracy

Requirements:

• College diploma in a related field

• Minimum of three years relevant experience

• Experience with auto body or estimatics

• Training in I-CAR or similar

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 100%
