As a key player in our SME commercial insurance unit, you will apply your experience in underwriting to assess risks and mentor junior team members. This role emphasizes strong collaboration with internal partners and brokers to ensure high standards of pricing and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite new and renewal P&C accounts effectively
• Evaluate risks and suggest terms and pricing
• Prepare thorough referrals for complex risks
• Cultivate relationships with brokers for new and renewal business
• Ensure documentation accuracy and portfolio compliance
Requirements:
• 3+ years of P&C underwriting experience required
• Familiarity with underwriting fundamentals and pricing
• Proficient in relevant software and Microsoft Office
• Strong relational and problem-solving skills
• Capable of independent workload management
