As a Senior Underwriter, you will work in a hybrid model, collaborating closely with Commercial Insurance Specialists.
Your role involves developing unique insurance products while maintaining strong relationships and providing an excellent underwriting experience. You will pay attention to detail and engage actively with our Actuarial and Claims Departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customize insurance solutions for various risk classes
• Collaborate with Commercial Insurance Specialists
• Maintain strong client relationships via effective communication
• Analyze underwriting details and negotiate outcomes
• Mentor and coach junior staff in underwriting practices
Requirements:
• 5+ years in Commercial P&C Underwriting
• Previous leadership or mentoring roles beneficial
• Knowledge of underwriting disciplines and pricing models
• CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designation in progress or completed
• Strong customer service experience required
