Position: Claims Representative I at CGIC
Join CGIC as a Claims Representative I and work in a hybrid model. This essential role focuses on the investigation and resolution of bodily injury claims, enhancing client service.

In this full-time position within the Bodily Injury Claims department, you’ll play a vital role at a leading Canadian financial co-operative. You’ll leverage your negotiation skills and insurance expertise to manage claims effectively while enhancing client engagement. As an integral part of the team, you will ensure that our clients are served with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate bodily injury claims and interpret coverage

• Negotiate and settle claims in a timely manner

• Maintain files and records for all assigned claims

• Authorize payments based on claims assessments

• Oversee defense litigation processes as required

Requirements:

• At least one year of insurance experience

• Working towards Chartered Insurance Professional certification

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar tools

• Provincial adjuster license may be necessary

• University/College degree is required
