Use investigation and negotiation skills as an Automobile Claims Adjuster with AMA in a Hybrid-Light work model. Help members find peace of mind.
Reporting to the Claims Supervisor, you will provide excellent customer service during stressful automobile insurance claims. You will explain the claims process clearly, investigate claims, and negotiate settlements. The work calls for empathy, sound judgment, integrity, and confident decision-making. Prior insurance adjusting or insurance-related experience is required, while CIP designation or progress toward it is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service to AMA members
- Clearly explain how each claim will be handled
- Investigate automobile insurance claims thoroughly
- Negotiate settlements using sound judgment
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Prior insurance adjusting or related insurance experience
- Clear communication and excellent telephone etiquette
- Professionalism, integrity, and ethical decision-making
- CIP designation or progress toward it considered an asset
