Bilingual Translator​/Editor

This full-time temporary position lasts for 24 months, available in locations including Calgary and Montreal. You will ensure the quality of translations from external resources, translate CMHC documents, and assist colleagues with language support. Strong time management skills are required to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate texts between English and French

• Revise translations with a focus on quality assurance

• Record findings from terminological research

• Ensure alignment of materials with audience needs

• Provide language support to teams as needed

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in translation or linguistics

• Minimum three years of practical translation experience

• Familiarity with Flow Fit and Trados software

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Knowledge of CMHC's business and economic concepts
