Litigation Associate (5–10 Years Experience) – Aboriginal Law Focus Job Overview
Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and strategic Litigation Associate with 5–10 years of experience to join our Aboriginal Law litigation team. The ideal candidate has experience with rights-based litigation, administrative tribunals, or regulatory hearings, and a commitment to advancing Indigenous legal issues.
Key Duties:- Develop and execute litigation strategies in coordination with internal and external teams
- Work on litigation in Alberta Court of Kings Bench and Saskatchewan Court of Kings Bench
- 5–10 years of litigation experience, with exposure to Aboriginal or constitutional law
- Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills
- Experience with professional responsibility matters considered an asset
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing needs within the firm
- Good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
