Associate Lawyer - Corporate Commercial

Founded in 1980, our client has grown to approximately 60 lawyers, establishing a strong reputation in Business Law, Trusts and Estates, Litigation, Real Estate, and Family Law. The firm has been recognized in the 2025 edition of the Chambers Canada Guide as “Highly Regarded for Corporate/Commercial - Alberta.” Their diverse clientele includes business leaders, emerging entrepreneurs, public and private corporations, as well as trusts and estates.

As part of the dynamic business law group, you will provide expert advice on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including:

• Mergers and Acquisitions
• Corporate Finance
• Capital Markets Transactions
• Project Development
• Transactional Work across various industries

• 5-8 years of corporate commercial experience, including M&A, Private Equity, New Ventures, and Corporate Governance, gained from a national, regional, or reputable boutique firm.
• A combination of private practice and in-house experience is welcome.
• Self-motivation and an entrepreneurial spirit, with outstanding communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• A client-oriented mindset.
• A law degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
