Position: Avmax Senior Legal Counsel Role
Take on a pivotal position as Senior Legal Counsel with Avmax in Calgary. Manage complex transactions and provide legal insights in a global aviation company.

As part of Avmax's legal team, you will report to the General Counsel, focusing on high-stakes asset acquisitions, leasing arrangements, and transactional agreements. You will be instrumental in advising on regulatory compliance, enhancing internal processes, and maximizing efficiency throughout legal dealings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of complex commercial transactions

• Negotiate and draft diverse legal agreements

• Coordinate with external legal advisors on cross-border matters

• Support compliance and risk management initiatives

• Mentor legal support staff and improve workflows

Requirements:

• LL.B. or J.D. required;
Alberta Law Society membership preferred

• 5+ years in transactional or corporate law

• Proven track record in managing commercial deals

• Strong negotiation and drafting capabilities

• Willingness to travel as necessary
