As a key member of the legal team, you will independently handle insurance defense matters, conduct trials, and draft essential legal documents.
Your role requires effective communication with claims departments and utilizing AI tools to optimize operations while adhering to ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle a variety of insurance defense cases independently
• Prepare motions, conduct mediations, and perform at trials
• Draft legal opinions and support documents for proceedings
• Educate claims teams through legal seminars
• Communicate effectively with adjusters and claims staff
Requirements:
• LLB or JD and membership in the Law Society of Alberta
• At least two years of insurance litigation experience
• Knowledge in areas such as auto liability and employment law
• Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in legal software and AI tools
