Proactively monitor, manage, and de‑risk the supply chain to ensure the timely delivery of all materials and equipment in alignment with project schedules, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Monitoring: Track and manage the progress of all executed purchase orders (POs), including engineering deliverables, documentation, manufacturing stages, inspections, testing, and final shipment readiness.
- Schedule Adherence: Monitor vendor production schedules and project timelines, identifying risks early and implementing corrective actions to prevent delays.
- Communication & Coordination: Maintain consistent communication with suppliers, engineering, quality, logistics, supply chain teams, and clients to address expediting issues and confirm shipment readiness.
- Documentation & Reporting: Update and validate delivery status in Maximo; prepare weekly and monthly expediting reports; ensure accuracy and completeness of all reporting data.
- Issue Resolution: Escalate non‑conformities, critical issues, and potential delays; coordinate corrective actions to maintain schedule integrity.
- Quality Control Interface: Work with QC teams and third‑party inspectors to ensure timely inspections and efficient resolution of non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
- Logistics & Delivery: Coordinate with logistics teams to support delivery per Incoterms, verify packing lists, and ensure all export documentation is complete and compliant.
- PO Close‑Out: Follow up on shortages, damages, and outstanding issues; support final purchase order close‑out activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in expediting, procurement, or supply chain management within EPC, oil & gas, mining, or large‑scale industrial project environments.
- Strong understanding of procurement workflows, supply chain operations, and quality management systems.
- Proficiency with expediting tools, production schedules (e.g., Gantt charts), and structured reporting formats.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor‑management skills.
- Ability to travel and work from site as required.
