Company Overview

Earth Drilling was founded in 1976 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Primarily a water well drilling company, the Saskatchewan residents came to know Earth Drilling as a household name. In 2012 the Wegleitner Family assumed ownership of Earth Drilling, realigning the direction and vision for the future of the Company, integrating both legacy and new vision. We operate a variety of drill rigs, combined with support equipment, which services Western Canada through our office in Calgary, Alberta.

With a focus on obtaining reliable soil and core samples, we help our clients achieve their drilling targets or uncover the best methods for remediation, construction and development.

Our strong reputation in the industry draws only the best people and equipment, contributing to continued success and growth. Our equipment acquisition and selection is determined by knowledgeable staff who anticipate the need for specialty services, challenging geographical limitations and remote sites. Earth Drilling strives to continuously develop an exceptional Safety Culture which exceeds industry standards. We expect that every team member goes home safely every day.

Safety is essential in everything we do, and our company-wide safety management system supports our goal of zero incidents and injuries. We invest in safety training to ensure engagement and commitment to safety above all else. Our Health Safety & Environment Management System has received the COR (Certificate of Recognition) from Alberta Human Services and the Alberta Construction Safety Association.

Along with COR accreditation, we’re also a member of Partnerships in Injury Reduction and a registered member of several industry-recognized safety programs, including ISNetworld, Comply Works, Avetta and Browz.
