We seek a Supply Chain Specialist focused on Indigenous Engagement, leveraging over seven years of experience to foster economic partnerships. You will implement Indigenous Economic Engagement Plans and identify direct contracting opportunities to support Indigenous businesses. Collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to socio-economic standards is integral to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Indigenous Economic Engagement Plans for designated projects
• Ensure alignment with Socio-Economic Requirements of Contractors
• Build relationships with Indigenous communities and businesses
• Support contractors in achieving Indigenous engagement goals
• Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
• Related university degree in supply chain management or business
• Minimum seven years in supply chain or related fields
• Experience working with Indigenous communities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to negotiate and resolve complex issues
Contribute to meaningful engagement efforts that boost Indigenous economic involvement in supply chain practices.
