Company Overview
Oxford Builders Supplies Inc. joined the Ellis Don Group as our full‑service equipment and maintenance division. We provide a broad range of new and used construction equipment and accessories.
Responsibilities- Handle all logistics ensuring coordination with the Calgary divisions; manage deliveries and pickups that may overlap.
- Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and track shipments.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Compile and complete paperwork for shipments, including delivery tickets, bills of lading and other documentation.
- Create all rental contracts, invoices, credits, returns and work orders.
- Provide timely invoice backup for AP invoices, including working with vendor partners to ensure accuracy.
- Create purchase orders as needed.
- Enter information accurately into Excel and other company software.
- Collect customer credit applications, insurances and documents and submit to accounting.
- Assist in managing inventory – ensuring part numbers or bulk asset numbers are recorded.
- Assist in ensuring all equipment work orders are completed and entered into company software.
- Proofread work for errors and make appropriate corrections as needed.
- Communicate with suppliers and other departments regarding shipments.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods through the shipping and receiving process.
- Prioritize workflow in a high‑volume department to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to safety procedures, including the use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
- Actively support and engage with project coordinators to ensure timely responses and deliveries.
- Two to four years of logistics experience.
- Strong customer service and professional phone etiquette.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor with colleagues, clients, service providers, and suppliers.
- A diploma or post‑secondary education in Logistics or a related field is considered an asset.
- The role requires very light physical exertion and very limited visual and/or auditory concentration, manual dexterity and/or strain.
Salary range: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 CAD.
