Seasonal Heritage Park Streetcar Operator

Join Heritage Park as a Seasonal Streetcar Operator and immerse yourself in a unique historical experience. Operate antique streetcars while providing exceptional guest engagement and safety.

In this role, you will operate streetcars under the direction of the Streetcar Lead Motorman, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines. You will also welcome guests and offer insights into the heritage of streetcars in Western Canada, enhancing their visit. Your customer service and commitment to safety will contribute to an enjoyable atmosphere for all park visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate streetcars according to scheduled guidelines

• Assist guests with boarding and disembarking

• Engage in informative conversations about streetcar history

• Perform daily inspections and report any maintenance issues

• Ensure passenger safety during rides and in emergencies

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a streetcar conductor or motorman

• Class 5 driver’s license and medical evaluation

• Proficiency in Alberta Rail Safety Rules

• Excellent English communication skills

• Ability to troubleshoot and ensure operational safety
