Responsibilities

  • Work to develop strong partnerships with Meta Sourcing, Engineering and Finance teams to build the mid to long term demand planning and forecasting strategies.
  • Develop an optimized supply plan to support the build out of Network, Data Center construction, Artificial Intelligence, and Compute & Storage.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to gain insight into production capacity and alternatives for material constraints, evaluating trade‑off decisions in limited resource environments to source a reliable supply plan.
  • Utilize forecasting models in collaboration with Meta data science engineering teams, incorporating cost optimization, deployment demands, Artificial Intelligence/Generative AI strategies, and various data center and network fabric types. Apply what‑if planning models (Flexibility simulator) and demand planning systems (Oracle).
  • Use planning software to manage supply chain processes.
  • Collaborate with Meta’s Enterprise Products and Analytics teams to continually enhance automation efforts, optimizing efficiency and accuracy in supply chain operations.
  • Prepare hardware technical forecasting models that consider engineering options and collaborate with engineering partners on demand trade‑offs.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities with Meta cross‑functional partners, including excess & obsolescence reduction, design for manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI) sign‑off, safety stock planning, and inventory optimization at the rack and commodity level.
  • Communicate plans and commitments across the organization, up to leadership, ensuring clear understanding of supply commitments and implications.
  • Support the Integrated Business Planning / Sales and Operations Planning (IBP/S&OP) cycle, aligning it with overall business objectives and maintaining a seamless process from start to finish.
  • Build partnerships with the Meta Demand Planning and Engineering teams to source the latest demand signals.
  • Develop and manage an optimized rack and commodity‑level supply plan supporting demand signals; work with Meta Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) to model production capacity and constraints, making informed trade‑off and allocation decisions in limited resource environments.
  • Monitor inventory positions with the Commodity Planning team, proposing safety‑stock adjustments based on identified risks across the supply chain.
  • Source planning‑relevant data, maintain high organization, and oversee a dynamic NPI process for AI server rack development in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Use Meta’s Clear‑to‑Build (CTB) tool to manage commodities at various AI server rack production stages, ensuring seamless supply planning and optimized workflows.
  • Apply Oracle and internal planning tools; collaborate with Meta Enterprise Products team to enhance automation, efficiency, and accuracy in supply chain operations.
  • Develop new KPIs and automated reports to guide decisions, highlight performance, and identify risks.
  • Collaborate with Meta ODMs in Taiwan via regular weekly video calls.
  • Monthly deliverables: update and send the commodity or finished‑good demand plan to Meta and relevant internal contacts; target 100% on time.

  • Monthly deliverables: generate a demand plan achieving at least 90% feasibility based on supply.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or applicable experience in business (operations, supply chain, finance, economics) or engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply‑chain‑related roles (demand, supply, materials, or inventory planning).
  • Technical and analytical skills; experience building dynamic models using Google Sheets, Excel (Apps Script, VBA, SQL, or Python) and creating data visualizations with Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar software.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Proficiency with planning tools and ERP software (Oracle, SAP, o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or custom builds).
  • Experience working independently in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative, data‑driven environment.

Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The base pay range below serves as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
