Inventory Control Worker

Overview

We are looking for a Part-time Inventory Control Worker to join our team at our Calgary Distribution Center for the Days and Afternoon shift. Pet Valu, a specialty retailer of pet food and supplies for Bosley's, Tisol, and Total Pet, is looking for candidates like you!

Education

• High School

Experience

• Solid ability to perform various functions in a Warehouse environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of urgency and time management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
• Comfortable lifting products up to 50lbs each
• RF experience is required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a comparable Administrative, Clerk or Coordinator role

• Punctual attendance and arrival on shift as schedule ready to work
• Attend crew meetings and communication sessions as required
• Participate in stretch program
• Adhere to all external and internal policies and procedures as required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Quality Control checks and Audits
• Fill Rate sustainment
• 3PL reconciliation and resolutions
• Outbound shorts monitoring and live adjustments as required
• Process Returns and Damages
• Perform inventory adjustments as authorized to correct inventory
• New product and Discontinued product set ups and slotting
• Cycle counting and trend analysis on related shrink
• Control expiry date items to ensure quality and saleability
• Review and respond to internal emails and requests for corrective actions
• Participate in Annual Physical Counts when applicable
• Meet all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as per established schedule and deadlines
• Perform other duties as required
