Procurement Specialist

Position: Exciting Procurement Specialist Opportunity
CoolIT Systems in Calgary seeks a talented Procurement Specialist to enhance our supply chain efficiency. This role centers on optimizing purchasing processes and ensuring material availability.
As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you’ll work under the Global Procurement Manager. Your contributions will align material procurement with production timelines and budget constraints, requiring a strategic approach to purchasing and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage purchase orders for production

• Define specifications for purchasing quality and quantity

• Facilitate the purchasing cycle and accurate receipt of goods

• Ensure ERP system information is accurate and up to date

• Expedite orders to ensure supply chain continuity
Requirements:

• Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-focused role

• Independent and team-oriented work ethic

• Intermediate to advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office

• Experience with Net Suite and BOM tools is a plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
