Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain Planning , the Supply Chain Analyst is a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional responsible for executing inventory management and customer fulfillment strategies. This role focuses on optimizing inventory levels, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and supporting business operations. The Analyst monitors inventory trends and replenishment settings while collaborating with cross-functional teams as the subject‑matter expert for select portfolios, ensuring effective inventory management across the organization.
Responsibilities- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and adjust replenishment settings, ensuring uninterrupted product availability and optimal customer service.
- Support the execution of promotional and seasonal readiness activities to deliver products to the right locations on time, enhancing the customer experience.
- Maintain item-level master data, including special order articles, to drive accuracy and efficiency in supply chain operations.
- Optimize inventory levels to meet in‑stock targets while balancing network inventory and financial performance.
- Collaborate with Product Strategy and the Supply Chain Planner to successfully execute new product launches, assortment changes, and exit strategies, ensuring a seamless transition for customers.
- Monitor vendor performance and provide recommendations for improvement, enhancing reliability and service quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory turnover and minimize excess stock, maximizing financial efficiency.
- Lead supply chain activities related to vendor reverse logistics, managing excess inventory and product recalls with minimal customer disruption.
- Ensure compliance with inventory policies, procedures, and industry standards to maintain operational integrity and customer trust.
- Perform additional job‑related duties as required, always prioritizing customer satisfaction and financial goals.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in agriculture, business, or a related field (considered an asset) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Supply Chain Management or similar professional designation (CIPS, SCMP) is considered an asset.
- A minimum of 3 years of logistics or supply chain experience.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to build collaborative, team‑based relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated, able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with a strong aptitude for collaboration.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with experience in materials management, demand forecasting software, and data analysis tools.
