Our client is looking for adedicated Project Procurement Specialist to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. The role supports procurement activities across major capital and operational projects. The ideal candidate is a commercially minded procurement professional with experience in capital projects, construction, EPC contracts, and vendor management, able to balance cost, schedule, quality, and risk.

Responsibilities:

Develop procurement strategies aligned with project scope, schedule, budget, and risk.

Lead sourcing, bidding, negotiations, and contract awards.

Lead the procurement and selection of EPC contractors, including direct experience hiring EPC companies.

Prepare and manage commercial agreements for supply, construction services,and equipment.

Advise project teams on contract and compensation strategies.

Assess commercial and contractual risks and support procurement execution with cross-functional teams.

Manage critical and long-lead procurements, supplier performance, change orders, and contract closeout.

Provide procurement updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to project leadership.
