In this role at Viking, you will play an essential part in procurement operations while enhancing collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Your responsibilities will include reviewing purchase orders, optimizing inventory management, and ensuring that parts are delivered on time to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage procurement operations by placing accurate orders
• Analyze daily purchase orders for compliance with agreements
• Ensure adequate supply levels and product availability
• Monitor on-time delivery of components
• Collaborate with accounting on invoicing processes
Requirements:
• Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain or similar field
• 1-3 years in inside sales or purchasing
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Methodical and organized approach to tasks
• Strong analytical skills and teamwork abilities
Drive impactful projects in fire protection at Viking's Calgary location.
