Airswift is seeking a Supply Management Analyst to work with one of our o&g clients in Calgary, AB on a 12-months contract.

We've an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Supply Management Analyst supporting the pipe desk operational activities.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) inventory, supporting accurate forecasting, and collaborating closely with business units to align supply strategies with operational needs. This position offers the chance to contribute to optimizing supply chain performance, reducing costs, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities
  • Maintain optimal OCTG inventory levels to ensure operational readiness while minimizing carrying costs and preventing stockouts.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date demand forecasts for OCTG materials using data analysis and business unit input.
  • Collaborate with business units to align operational priorities, scheduling, and supply strategies.
  • Support vendor relationship management to ensure reliable supply and identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements.
  • Monitor market conditions and supply chain risks to proactively mitigate potential disruptions in OCTG availability.
  • Prepare and analyze reports and metrics, including spend evaluations and cost comparisons, to support informed decision‑making.
  • Drive results under tight timelines and track action items, while working with key internal stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in supply management, supply chain processes, and managing contracts and purchase orders.
  • Completion of a university degree or related post-secondary education.
  • Strong understanding of contract formation and contract administration.
  • Proven ability to perform analytical evaluations of commercial information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in inventory management is considered an asset.
