Supply Chain Specialist

As a Supply Chain Specialist at the Alberta Energy Regulator, you will manage the supply chain lifecycle, focusing on contracting and human resources. You'll educate and advise stakeholders on procurement processes while ensuring adherence to contract law and trade agreements. Your strategic sourcing efforts will drive key performance indicators and align with AER’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on procure-to-pay processes for assigned categories

• Communicate regularly with business units for better sourcing

• Liaise with vendors to understand business requirements

• Lead public procurement processes, soliciting bids and proposals

• Ensure openness and transparency during commercial evaluations

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience

• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

• SCMP or CPP designation is an asset

• Knowledge of ERP procurement modules is desirable
