In this senior role, you will manage full-cycle project purchasing while ensuring compliance with ASME codes and material requirements. Your ability to read fabrication drawings and verify details will be essential in preventing discrepancies that could impact manufacturing. Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors and multiple internal teams to streamline operations and foster strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Run full-cycle project purchasing including BOM translation
• Verify engineering drawings before issuing purchase orders
• Cross-check BOMs with materials to catch discrepancies
• Develop and manage suppliers, ensuring performance standards
• Utilize ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) for accurate purchasing
Requirements:
• Several years of procurement experience in manufacturing
• Strong skills in RFQs and supplier negotiations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy
• Familiarity with ASME code and traceability requirements
