Import Export Specialist

Join SLB as an Import/Export Specialist in Calgary, Alberta, where you'll support international trade compliance and logistics operations. Leverage your skills in customs and documentation management to ensure seamless shipment processes.

In this role, you will play a vital part in our international operations, collaborating with teams from Operations, Procurement, and Customs Brokers. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with Canadian import/export regulations while optimizing costs through free trade agreements and regulatory changes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classify products and assign accurate HS tariff codes

• Manage import/export documentation and compliance systems

• Monitor regulatory changes and customs compliance activities

• Identify opportunities for duty cost optimization

• Coordinate international shipments by air and sea

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in customs and trade compliance

• Bachelor's or Master’s in relevant fields

• Experience with HS classification and customs processes

• Ability to support after-hours activities when required

• Must be authorized to work in Canada
