Opportunity

The Specialist, Supply Chain (SC) Standards & Processes plays a key role in supporting strategic SC initiatives to drive process standardization and continuous improvements. This role is ideal for a hands‑on, strategic thinker who excels at analyzing complex data, optimizing workflows and translating business needs into actionable solutions. The role drives governance in SC processes and procedures. Strong collaboration with SC and cross‑functional stakeholders is essential to ensure effective adoption, continuous improvement, and alignment with business objectives.

The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for the contract lifecycle discipline area and lead strategic continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SC business outcomes. The SC Standards & Processes team ensures the SC organization is equipped with the necessary standards, processes, procedures, training, and tools to effectively manage the SC lifecycle. The successful candidate will apply analytical, commercial, legal, and industry expertise to both routine and complex initiatives.

As a discipline area subject matter expert for the contract lifecycle, the successful candidate will identify, prioritize, and lead strategic initiatives that strengthen SC performance, tools, and capabilities across the organization. Building strong relationships with SC leadership, SC execution teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders is critical to delivering fit‑for‑purpose solutions that address priority needs. A strong background in supply chain, process design and stakeholder engagement is essential.

This role sits within the Supply Chain organization, part of Corporate Services, and reports to the Manager, SC Standards & Processes. It involves close collaboration across SC teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.

What you’ll do
  • Manage initiatives while applying timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and meeting facilitation to ensure successful delivery of assigned tasks and initiatives.
  • Serve as an SC subject matter expert for the contract lifecycle discipline area, providing strategic leadership and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SC performance and business outcomes.
  • Analyze and document supply chain business processes in order to translate business needs into functional specifications and process improvements to support operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain process maps and supporting documentation (i.e. processes and procedures) and ensure alignment with best practice.
  • Lead supply chain initiatives from scope definition through implementation and sustainment, leveraging a decision quality framework.
  • Train and promote consistent application of supply chain processes.
  • Develop and implement communication and training plans for supply chain.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Completion of a related undergraduate degree from a recognized post‑secondary institution with a major in supply chain, business administration or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in business support and/or progressive experience in Supply Chain.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with analytical tools, including Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Apply fact‑based, structured decision‑making while solving complex problems.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables effectively.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and facilitate classroom training and practical experiences and exercises.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
