The Kit Coordinator supports the planning and availability of kits required for retrofit solutions across the fleet. This role assists in ensuring customer commitments are met by coordinating kit requirements, monitoring material readiness, and supporting fleet-wide stocking strategies for Airworthiness Directives, reliability initiatives, product improvement programs, and other lifecycle projects. The successful individual will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate data within DHC’s ERP system and contribute to the smooth execution of kit-building activities.
Key Responsibilities- Support the planning and execution of kit demand requirements for product development activities, customer-specific projects, and aircraft upgrade programs.
- Assist in monitoring customer deliverables and ensure critical supply dates remain accurate and up to date in DHC’s ERP system.
- Engage with internal stakeholders including Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Inventory Control to support timely material availability for kit assembly.
- Help prepare lead-time and cost estimates in response to quote requests from internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Identify and report potential material shortages to help prioritize actions that support kit delivery timelines.
- Work with Purchasing to gain awareness of supply chain constraints related to cost, lead time, and raw material availability.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation within the Kit Coordination function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 1 – 2 years’ Experience in customer service, administrative roles, or coursework related to planning or procurement is considered an asset.
- Interest in aerospace, supply chain operations, or production planning.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to learn and work within ERP systems and structured planning environments.
- Problem-solving mindset with willingness to take initiative and ask questions.
