Solutions Supply Planner

Position: Univar Solutions Supply Planner Opening
Join Univar Solutions as a Supply Planner in Calgary or Edmonton. Enhance inventory efficiency while contributing to key supply chain decisions in this impactful role.

This position plays a crucial role in overseeing supply chain inventory management and procurement. You will minimize out-of-stocks, optimize purchasing costs, and provide valuable insights on inventory levels. Your expertise will also be used in mentoring junior planners and driving improvements in supply processes using MRP tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and execute the supply plan across the network

• Monitor procurement metrics and performance indicators

• Resolve supply issues with key stakeholders

• Conduct supplier business reviews on an ad-hoc basis

• Create purchase orders from SAP requisitions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related fields preferred

• APICS certification or SCMP designation is beneficial

• Familiarity with SAP considered a strong asset

• Track record of analyzing supply chain metrics

• Experience in training and mentoring is a plus
