The Supply Chain will support a portfolio of upstream and midstream energy projects, including greenfield and brownfield developments associated with gas processing facilities and other emerging capital project opportunities. The role is responsible for developing and implementing contracting strategies, managing engineering and procurement contracts, leading sourcing activities, and ensuring effective commercial stewardship throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Technical Authorities, Engineering & Procurement (EP) contractors, Category Management, Construction, HSSE, and Finance stakeholders to deliver safe, competitive, and reliable supply chain solutions. The position requires strong commercial acumen, contracting expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities Contracting & Procurement
  • Serve as the Contracting & Procurement focal point for designated projects within the portfolio.
  • Develop and implement project-specific contracting and procurement strategies aligned with organizational supply chain principles and project objectives.
  • Lead sourcing activities for engineering services, equipment packages, fabrication scopes, and construction contracts.
  • Develop ITT documentation, evaluation models, commercial recommendations, and award strategies.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and contractors to achieve competitive outcomes while appropriately managing project risks.
  • Leverage enterprise agreements, category strategies, and preferred supplier relationships to maximize value delivery.
  • Identify and pursue continuous improvement, cost avoidance, and commercial value opportunities across the project portfolio.
Contract Management
  • Manage a portfolio of engineering, procurement, and construction-related contracts from award through close-out.
  • Support contract administration activities, including commercial correspondence, change management, claims avoidance, and dispute resolution.
  • Monitor contractor performance and support implementation of improvement plans where required.
  • Ensure contract management activities comply with corporate governance requirements and established contract management standards.
  • Maintain appropriate commercial documentation, registers, and audit trails.
  • Support management of warranties, supplier obligations, and post-award deliverables.
  • Support the preparation of contracting strategy submissions and governance materials for supply chain review boards and approval bodies.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and engineering contractors to identify contracting and procurement risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Support project readiness activities through timely procurement of critical equipment and services.
  • Promote standardization, simplification, and best practices across the project portfolio.
  • Facilitate collaboration between project teams, category management, engineering, drilling/completions, and construction functions.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable timely decision-making and successful project execution.
  • Engage suppliers, contractors, and engineering partners to ensure alignment on commercial expectations and project objectives.
  • Support integration of contractor and engineering procurement activities with corporate supply chain requirements and governance expectations.
  • Influence stakeholders to resolve commercial issues efficiently while maintaining project schedule and cost objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a related discipline.
