The Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located in Calgary, AB. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing daily transportation schedules and routes to meet customer and project timelines. The role includes tracking shipments, maintaining accurate logistics records, and communicating with drivers, dispatch, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient movement of materials and equipment. The Logistics Specialist will monitor load status, resolve scheduling or routing issues, and support compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The role also involves collaborating with operations and site-services teams to align logistics plans with project needs and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, optimize routes, and solve operational challenges.
• Candidates should possess Supply Chain Management and Export knowledge to manage shipments, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or haulage operations, preferably within energy, construction, or related industries.
• Proficiency with logistics, dispatch, or fleet management software and basic MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Understanding of safety standards and compliance frameworks common in Canadian transportation and industrial sectors.
• Post-secondary education or training in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an asset.
