As Project Procurement Lead, you will plan procurement activities for materials, services, and equipment. The role supports multiple projects while meeting client requirements and procurement practices. You will guide teams, manage milestones, and improve departmental processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop procurement plans, strategies, schedules, and procedures
Review bid lists, requests, and commercial bid evaluations
Oversee engineered equipment and commodity material purchases
Negotiate commercial terms, progress payments, and conditions
Manage team performance, milestones, mentoring, and coaching
Requirements:
More than ten years of procurement experience
At least six years supervising procurement in engineering, procurement, construction
Demonstrated advanced negotiating experience
Post-secondary certification or equivalent experience
Microsoft Office and Excel competency with strong communication skills
Bring procurement leadership, negotiation expertise, and detailed project coordination to Vista Projects’ Calgary engineering team.
