Freight Dispatch Coordinator

Coordinate freight movements from Charger Logistics’ Calgary office using customer service, carrier communication, and transportation planning skills. Manage daily priorities across inbound and outbound shipments.

As Dispatch Coordinator, you will serve customers while coordinating freight against weekly transportation targets. The work includes relationships with brokers and carriers, lane analysis, rate negotiation, and shipment tracking. You will also resolve service, pricing, scheduling, and documentation discrepancies.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight against daily priorities
• Maintain customer, broker, and carrier relationships
• Analyze lane data, performance, and transportation costs
• Negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers
• Track shipments and communicate service risks proactively

• Three or more years in trucking or dispatch
• Supply Chain Management or relevant educational background
• Customer service experience in a similar environment
• Knowledge of transportation and North American geography
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and new software
