Calgary procurement coordinator needed for inventory replenishment, supplier management, and purchasing across a full-time wholesale distribution environment.
The Fastener Group supports fasteners, tools, and industrial supplies across Western Canada. This Procurement Coordinator supports multiple branches and a Distribution Center. The role focuses on purchasing, demand planning, inventory performance, supplier coordination, and customer fulfillment. It reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchase products for multiple branches and Distribution Center operations
- Monitor inventory, demand trends, and supplier lead times
- Create and manage purchase orders within ERP systems
- Coordinate supplier pricing, quantities, schedules, and lead times
- Resolve delivery, shortage, invoice, and quality issues
- Minimum five years purchasing or inventory management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management
- Experience with replenishment and demand planning
- Strong analytical skills and Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
