AGAT Laboratories is hiring a Sample Receipt Technician for its logistics team. The position suits someone starting out, with guidance from the Logistics Supervisor and team. Duties combine administrative work, sample examination, chain-of-custody data entry, shipment preparation, and supply receiving.
Key Responsibilities:- Examine and sort incoming samples for integrity issues
- Enter chain-of-custody information into LIMS and mining software
- Record inter-laboratory shipments accurately in LIMS
- Prepare shipping documents and package samples
- Track disposal timelines and assist with procedures
- High school diploma required
- Intermediate computer, spreadsheet, Excel, and Outlook skills
- Previous warehouse, laboratory, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
