Reporting directly to the Facilities Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for performing basic maintenance and cleaning tasks as assigned on a day‑to‑day basis in the Residence Complex. The incumbent will perform a range of functions, both independently and collaboratively. Duties include minor repairs and maintenance that do not require a tradesman designation in student suites, common areas, office and non‑student areas, building exteriors, and residence complex ground areas.

The incumbent may be asked to provide support in the event of an emergency or major project and will interact positively with students, guests, and the Residence Services team. Work may extend into holidays and busy periods outside of normal hours for major residence activities such as move‑in, check‑out, and peak conference season.
