Ready for a role where your hands‑on skills support frontline wildfire operations? Alberta Wildfire Telecoms & Facilities is recruiting seasonal Wildfire Facility Coordinators in Rocky Mountain House, Edson, and Peace River Forest Areas.
As a Wildfire Facility Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to leverage your skills in maintenance and construction to support the branch network of facilities, including airtanker bases, firebase camps, and fixed detection sites.
Reporting to the Regional Facilities Coordinator, you will assist in the delivery of the branch’s construction and maintenance program and ensure facilities remain fully operational and meet Health Board requirements, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation, and Alberta Building Code standards.
Your work will include performing and overseeing maintenance activities, as well as responding to repairs and equipment failures at facilities within your area.
This position assists the Regional Facilities Coordinator and offers a combination of hands‑on work, coordination and direct supervision of contractors.

- A Journeyperson Certificate
- Two (2) years of related experience in a construction trade such as carpentry, electrical or plumbing.
Equivalency:
Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of:
- One year of experience for one year of education,
- One year of education for one year of experience
Hands‑on experience with construction, electrical, mechanical or any other sub‑trade is considered an asset.
Additional Requirements- A valid, unrestricted Alberta Class 5 driver’s license or an equivalent Canadian license.

- A minimum 3‑year Driver's Abstract, showing a record of seven (7) demerits or less (obtained within 30 days of your commencement date and presented to management prior to commencement).
- A valid Standard First Aid certificate with CPR certification.
