Shipper​/Receiver

Our SE client in Calgary is looking for a Shipper/Receiver, to join their busy team. If you are interested in working in a fast-paced environment, like to be around great people and have a good eye for details, read on - this may be the opportunity you have been looking for!

Responsibilities:

• Review, complete and submit daily paperwork for deliveries, pickups, receiving and production.
• Prepare case, rack and pack tags for incoming shipments.
• Keep track of incoming loads.
• Track warehouse stock and order as needed; order production materials as requested.
• Pick up completed orders, match with delivery slips and pull in proper files.
• Find customer pick up orders and assist in loading when required.
• Receive and sort incoming stock, and inspect for any issues.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• Two years’ experience working in shipping and receiving, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of the electrical industry is considered a strong asset.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
• Intermediate level knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook.
• A self-starter with strong communication and customer service skills.
