Janitor Cleaner

Hourly Wage: C $18.00 per hour (fixed).

Work Hours: Mon - Fri + Weekends, 8:00 pm – 3:30 am.

Purpose:

Janitors keep assigned areas—offices, commercial and institutional buildings—in clean and orderly condition. You will work effectively with fellow employees, clients, and all levels of the organization, following instructions and communicating clearly to complete tasks.

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Communicate with leads, supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers professionally.
• Fill in during staff shortages.
• Support shift lead in completing punch‑list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems and the environment.
• Instill trust.

• No previous cleaning experience required.
• Understand that safety is a top priority and comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.

• Vacuuming.
• Edging.
• Dusting.
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms.
• Window cleaning.
• Emptying trash and transporting to proper disposal area.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Stand 33%, walk >66%, and use hands and fingers to touch, handle, grip, feel, grasp, reach above shoulders.
• Push/pull and grasp with hands and arms 33‑50%.
